The second round brings the series to Farm Friedenau for a dedicated Mountain Bike (MTB) event. This race emphasises distance, with the main category covering 80km for Elite and Master levels, while an Open 40km race is available for other participants.
As a sanctioned event, it contributes points toward the final series standings. Points are awarded to the top 10 finishers, with additional “King/Queen of the Mountain” points available.

Start Locations
Where: Matchless Mine Area – 40km from Windhoek
Drive on the C28 past Daan Viljoen until you get the Matchless Mine turn off to the left, drive for 11,5 km’s, turn right at the split and follow the markers to the venue. (The gravel road will be dusty and will take about 20 – 25 minutes)
Sedan vehicles not recommended but doable if you drive carefully.
Showers and toilets available
General
E-Bikes will be allowed but will not be included in the series general classification.

2nd Registration – 9 May 2026 from 07:15 to 07:45 at the venue
