Earn your Ongolo stripes

The Ongolo Gravel 100 — or the Zebra Gravel 100 —proudly Powered by Hollard is a new challenging 162 km gravel and mountain bike race through the breathtaking Khomas Hochland region of Namibia.

The route starts at Farm Vaalgras (commonly known as Fritzposten), 50km west of Windhoek on the Kupferberg road and passes through Farm Simmenau, Farm Kuiseb and continues past the Friedenau Dam to the C28. From there, riders head west to the D1412, then south to the Us Pass, and return to Vaalgras on the D1982.

Participants will experience the rugged beauty of the Khomas Hochland mountains, riding over gravel roads and jeep tracks. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the Ongolo (Zebra) along the way. This is no easy ride — but once you’ve completed it, you’ll have truly earned your stripes.
